Hello,
Alger Community Hall is having a Fun Raiser whose purpose is to raise funds toward the maintenance of the facility.
Alger Community Hall is a great asset to our community and we want to keep it that way!
One of the fund raisers happening Sept. 17 is a bake sale and we are looking for people to donate a baked item(s).
The event takes place Saturday, Sept. 17, from 10 to 4, at the Alger Community Hall.
If you are interested in participating, please email Janet at cedarwaxwings@gmail.com what you want to bring to the bake sale by Sept. 14.
The baked items need to be at the Fun Raiser by 9:30 am, Sept. 17, so we can organize the display and add the pricing.
Janet will keep track of all the proposed bake sale items. This will help enable a variety of items and prevent too much duplication.
Please follow the these rules:
County Rules for Bake Sale items:
Only non-potentially hazardous baked goods include items that do not require refrigeration to remain safe and do not support the growth of hazardous organisms. These include things like breads, cookies, or fruit pies.
It does not include cream or pumpkin pies, breads or pastries filled with meat, custards, or other hazardous ingredients as they support the growth of organisms which can cause food borne illness.
All items must be wrapped. For example: Whole pies and cakes must be wrapped, you can package a number of (number is up to you—by the dozen, etc.) cupcakes and cookies in plastic bags, etc.
Thank You!
